Search these online archive catalogues for details of documents relating to Malhamdale, the parish of Kirkby Malham and its townships.
Note that two of the townships in particular can cause trouble with searches, even if you try to limit your search to Yorkshire records. Early spellings make it difficult to distinguish between Calton and Carleton in Craven (near Skipton) or the several other Yorkshire Carltons, and similarly Coniston Cold is easily confused with entries for Conistone with Kilnsey (in Wharfedale) and other Yorkshire Conistons.
Access 2 Archives : Manorial Documents Register : The National Archives Global Search
Access2Archives now holds catalogues to collections in record offices and depositories around the country. Choose to search them all (which finds some local records in odd locations) or particular ones that you may wish to visit, such as the Yorkshire Archaeological Society, Lancashire Record Office or North Yorkshire Record Office.
The Manorial Documents Register is a catalogue to local records kept in a variety of repositories and lists some interesting Malhamdale material.
The National Archives Global Search allows you to search all of their catalogues, including the A2A and the MDR which can also be searched separately from the links listed above.
