How
to find
Listed Building reports on Images
of England
Details of all the listed building descriptions
can be found on the Images of England site, even if the photographs
haven't appeared yet.
You first you have to register online
to use the Advanced Search facility, which is free.
Enter the name of the Malhamdale Township
that you want to view in the Location search and confirm your
place selection at the next screen.
In the Search Summary screen make
sure you turn off the checkbox for Only Show Listed Buildings That
Have Images and choose to view all entries.
The next screen will show all the listed
buildings in that township with an extract of the listing.
Click More to see the full listing
for each building.
If you are interested in old buildings, then the English Heritage 40 page guide "Understanding Historic Buildings" is well worth reading and is available as a free PDF download from their website.
