The parishes surrounding
(Click on Kirkby Malhamdale parish to see the individual townships which make up the parish.) The map shows the old ecclesiastical parishes surrounding the Parish of Kirkby-in-Malhamdale. These are the ancient parishes which existed until around 1830. Some were then split and boundaries changed to provide the additional parishes of Langcliffe, Settle, Hellifield, Coniston Cold and Rylstone. This website also covers the townships of Eshton, Winterburn and Bordley, which border the eastern edge of the parish of Kirkby Malhamdale.
